Callings

Callings are Jesus’ invitation to follow him into our workplaces, neighborhoods, and relationships. God invites us to live out hope, renewal, and justice in small, faithful ways with the people and places around us. God has placed us in a neighborhood, at a particular job, and among people. With a bit of prayerful focus, we can uncover what God is already doing in these areas. We invite you to discern in which area of your life God might be calling you to join in his renewal.

Neighborhood

We are sent into the Neighborhoods in which we are rooted, to love people where they are, serve the community and seek justice for all who are nearby and those in need. We love our neighbors as ourselves, because God has loved us first.

Workplace

We are sent into our workplaces to pursue justice, serve others, and bring cultural renewal. We are called to pursue justice rather than selfish ambition, working “with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord."

Relationships

The redemption that God accomplished through Jesus restored human relationship with God but also with one another. We are called to enter every relationship—family and friends—as Jesus did, for evangelism, love and reconciliation.
